There Is No Shortcut To Weight loss.

There is no shortcut to weight loss,

Shortcuts = short-term results

Consistency has been the biggest challenge in my weight loss journey. It's easy to get motivated to start a diet and force yourself to that workout and get some weight loss. The problem is when the plan isn't enjoyable it's not at all sustainable.

I remember my quick-fix days when I use to experiment with all diets available on the internet. From GM diet, egg diet, keto, detox diets, and many many more. Once I got back to my old eating habits, I gained most of my weight back.

So how to make sure your weight loss journey is sustainable:

Be honest with yourself and understand what makes you truly happy. If you love carbs do not cut them completely, don't starve and live on salads and soups, don't run 10k if you hate running, and don't torture your body with tasteless bland food you wouldn't go far with such kind of diets.

Pick things that you do love to do every day or for the rest of your life. Even if it's a smaller change maybe it wouldn't give you immediate results but will surely get you closer to your goal. Smaller steps lead to life-changing transformation. A small change like cutting down on sugar, and giving up junk food would still make a lot of difference to your journey.

What matters, in the end, is you doing what you love doing and that adds to the consistency and sustainability of your diet and workout. Fitness has to be a journey of consistent development achieving milestones as you progress and just not a destination, so develop habits that you love doing which in turn will make your fitness journey worth it and enjoyable at the same time and you wouldn't be worried about your weight ever again.
